Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate with hotel staff to deliver flawless events.

The role requires a HS diploma (Associates preferred), 1 year in customer service or AV experience, and a valid driver's license. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work irregular hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
• Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers; maintains positive client relationships.
• Understand and troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues; handle equipment challenges professionally.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork; use Navigator for order entries as needed; interact with staff and vendors.
• Work with clients to finalize invoices and utilize upsell opportunities.
