Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/conference environment. The role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and emphasizes delivering world‑class service to clients from intake to post‑event invoicing.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma (Associates preferred), at least 1 year of hospitality or AV experience, and a valid driver’s license. You must lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to irregular hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely manner.
• Complete orders and invoicing with accurate paperwork and coordination with staff/vendors.
