Job summary

Encore seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will work with events, perform on-site checks, and coordinate with hotel staff to keep equipment functioning smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot AV equipment. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required and shift hours may vary including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for team members operating company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Exceed the expectations of internal and external customers and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and resolve technical problems
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately and coordinate with staff and vendors.
