Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth events. You will work closely with hotel staff and clients, troubleshoot issues, and handle on-site coordination from setup to breakdown.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience, and some AV exposure; a valid driver’s license may be required for site travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and coordinate with staff/vendors as needed.
• Complete systems entry, equipment sheets, and invoicing interactions accurately.
• Uphold safety, lifting, and physical requirements typical for hotel/venue environments.
