Job summary

Encore is hiring an on-site AV Technician to set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/conference setting in North Carolina. You will work closely with clients to ensure their event runs smoothly and that equipment functions as intended.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate’s degree preferred) and prior customer service or hospitality experience, plus some audio-visual exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Set up, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment as listed.
• Customer Service: Exceed client expectations and maintain strong client relationships on site.
• Technical Ability: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues promptly.
• Systems Knowledge: Complete and record paperwork, use Navigator for entries, coordinate with staff and vendors.
