Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction. This role reports to the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and involves on-site client interaction, equipment troubleshooting, and accurate paperwork in Navigator.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, customer service or hospitality experience, and basic AV knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate company vehicles.
• Must meet/complete training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• May need to meet DOT requirements if applicable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed internal and external customer expectations and maintain client relationships.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately.
• Work with clients to finalize invoices and coordinate with staff and vendors.
