Job summary

Encore, a hospitality technology provider, is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

You will handle on-site equipment setup, operation, and breakdown, assist clients, troubleshoot issues, manage paperwork in Navigator, and collaborate with staff and vendors. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed expectations of internal and external customers and maintain client relationships.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete systems entry and paperwork accurately; interact with staff and outside vendors.
• Increase revenue using floor up-selling techniques and assist with invoicing.
