Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. The role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and focuses on delivering excellent customer satisfaction.

The position requires high school diploma (associate’s degree preferred), with 1 year each in customer service/hospitality and AV experience preferred. A valid driver’s license is required for some roles, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree is preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure equipment works and needs are met.
• Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day to ensure satisfaction.
• Interact with clients and vendors; complete order entries in Navigator as needed.
• Follow company processes and complete paperwork accurately.
