Job summary

Encore Global seeks an on-site Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel environment. You will ensure flawless events through precise setup, operation, and breakdown, while prioritizing customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes guest interaction, timely problem-solving, and accurate paperwork. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required; prior AV or hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for potential vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Exceeds expectations of internal and external customers and maintains positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Completes order entries in Navigator and assists with invoice finalization.
• Works with hotel clients to ensure equipment works properly and events run smoothly.
