Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will report to an Operations Manager, ensuring flawless events and high client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes customer service, effective communication, and hands-on AV troubleshooting. A valid drivers license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required; two-way collaboration with hotel staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Internal applicants must meet training/certification requirements per Encore’s program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid drivers license for team members operating company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Complete order entries in Navigator and use equipment sheets for planning.
• Collaborate with hotel staff and outside vendors to fulfill event needs.
