Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Lead to manage setup, operation and strike of AV systems in a hospitality environment. You will collaborate with hotel staff, lead a team, and ensure client satisfaction during events.

The role requires hands-on AV expertise, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work irregular hours in hotel/convention settings. A valid driver’s license and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of audio-visual experience required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members who operate company vehicles.
• High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down AV equipment accurately and timely.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong client relationships on site.
• Lead, mentor, and coach other Technicians in Encore’s service philosophy.
• Work with clients to finalize invoices and use Encore systems when needed.
