Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Lead to manage setup, operation, and break down of AV systems in hospitality settings. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, leadership, and reliable on-site support.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with hotel staff and clients, and ensure the equipment works smoothly throughout events. The position requires problem-solving and adherence to safety standards, with on-site responsibilities across multiple venues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down intermediate audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Complies with all Company security and safety measures.
• Ensure equipment is secure from theft and/or damage when in use.
• Lead, mentor, and coach other Technicians on Encore’s Delivering World Class Service philosophy.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Interact with clients to finalize invoices when needed.
