Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Lead to set up and operate audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, delivering world-class service during hotel events in Scottsdale. You will supervise on-site installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure client satisfaction.

This role requires 2–3+ years in AV and hospitality, a high school diploma (associate’s preferred), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work irregular hours in a hotel/convention environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 2–3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members operating company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet Encore training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and strike audiovisual equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Comply with company security and safety measures; protect equipment from theft or damage.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Coordinate with venues and staff; use floor sheets for scheduling and invoicing.
