Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Columbus, OH. This full-time, non-exempt role handles shipments, receiving, stocking finished goods, and order fulfillment. Evening schedule with potential overtime supports a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include picking and packing, using ERP/tablets, maintaining safety, and documenting shipments. Requires 1 year in warehouse/shipping, DOT HazMat training, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• D.O.T. HazMat Training required.
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Equipment: Forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Safety: Ability to prioritize safety and promote a safe work environment.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Attendance: Reliable, punctual attendance per policy.
• Communication: Clear communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet. Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product.
• Identify, tag, store and locate finished inventory.
• Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing list, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
