Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Kent, WA is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to manage shipping, receiving, and stocking finished goods for customer orders. You will complete shipments in the ERP system, pull and palletize products, and ensure accuracy and safety in every step.

This full-time, swing-shift role (1:00pm–9:30pm) requires at least 1 year of warehouse experience, forklift and HazMat readiness, and a commitment to quality and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Ability to operate forklift and related equipment.
• Safety-minded with strong adherence to procedures.
• Reading, comprehension, and arithmetic skills for packing lists and bills of lading.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product; identify, tag, store and locate finished inventory.
• Create shipping documents such as labels, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Maintain a clean work environment and support other duties as assigned.
