Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Enfield, CT is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, receive, stock, and ship finished goods. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 1pm–9:30pm with a $1.00 shift premium, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include ERP-based shipping, labeling, packing, and inventory rotation, plus maintaining safety and quality standards in a loud, active warehouse. Requires forklift certification and HazMat training at hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• D.O.T. HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet. Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment. Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing list, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
