Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for picking, packing, receiving, stocking finished goods, and supporting shipping activities. Shift is Monday–Thursday 7:00 pm–5:30 pm with overtime as needed.

Candidates should have a HS Diploma or GED, forklift certification, HazMat training, and at least 1 year of warehouse or shipping experience. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks and must adhere to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• D.O.T. HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Equipment: Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements and follow written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product and ensure quality standards.
• Create and apply shipping documents like labels, packing lists, and bills of lading.
