Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. seeks a Warehouse Associate in Columbus, OH to handle picking, receiving and stocking finished goods for customer orders. The role operates Monday–Thursday, 7:00 pm–5:30 am with overtime as required.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, official forklift certification at hire, HazMat training at hire, and about one year of warehouse or shipping experience. You must be safety‑driven, able to work independently, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (or equivalent).
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• D.O.T. HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, or shipping experience required.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker and electric pallet jack.
• Promote safety and follow company policies and procedures.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Execute shipments using ERP system or tablet, pull, package and palletize for shipment (70%).
• Create/attach documents like shipping labels, packing lists and bills of lading (10%).
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment (10%).
• Perform other duties as assigned (10%).
