Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Stockton, CA is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for graveyard shift to ship, receive, and stock finished goods to fulfill orders. Responsibilities include pulling, packing, labeling, and using ERP systems; this role operates on a non-exempt, union basis.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, PIT certification, HazMat training, and at least one year in warehousing. The position offers full-time hours, competitive benefits, and a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• PIT Certification required (will certify at hire).
• D.O.T. Haz Mat Training (will certify at hire) required.
• 1 year warehouse, logistics and/or shipping experience required.
• Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Ability to prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices.
• Attendance: reliable, punctual attendance per policy.
• Reading and understanding safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet. Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing lists, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
