Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a full-time Shipper/Receiver to handle shipping, receiving and stock management for finished goods. You will operate ERP systems, pull and palletize items, and ensure compliance with packaging and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, HazMat training and at least one year in warehouse or shipping. Safety, reliability, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• D.O.T. HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product.
• Identify, tag, store and locate finished inventory.
• Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing list, and bills of lading for each pallet/shipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
