Job summary

Simpson Strong‑Tie is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Columbus, OH to support picking, packing, receiving, and stocking finished goods. The role operates on a Monday–Thursday schedule, with potential overtime, handling shipments and documentation for each pallet. Strong attention to safety and accuracy is required.

The position requires forklift certification at hire, HazMat training, and at least 1 year of warehouse experience, with a focus on efficiency and quality in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Equipment: Operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
• Safety: Prioritize safety by demonstrating safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product; maintain clean work area.
