Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for a swing shift (1:00pm–9:30pm). You will ship, receive, and stock finished goods, ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include ERP-based shipments, packing, labeling, and maintaining inventory integrity; required forklift certs and HazMat training to be certified at hire. 1 year shipping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification for powered industrial trucks required (will certify at hire).
• DOT HazMat training required (will certify at hire).
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments meet packaging, customer, and quality standards.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product.
• Identify, tag, store and locate finished inventory.
