Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for building operations to manage the evening shift in a Connecticut facility. You will lead clinical and operational workflows, supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, EMR proficiency, and the ability to coordinate care across multiple units during the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Current, active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), long-term care (LTC), or sub-acute rehabilitation.
• Prior supervisory, house supervisor, unit manager, desk nurse, or charge nurse experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Strong clinical prioritization and autonomy to make rapid, independent decisions.
• High level of proficiency using EMR systems (PointClickCare) for clinical tracking and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build-Wide Operational Leadership: Supervise and coordinate nursing operations across all facility units during the evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, M–F).
• Triage & Emergency Command: Serve as primary clinical decision-maker for acute resident changes and emergencies during off-peak hours.
• Comprehensive Facility Rounds: Conduct rounds to oversee evening nursing care, medication administration, infection control, and charting.
• Shift Staffing & Resource Management: Adjust staffing to maintain coverage and balance workload.
• Admissions & Shift Handoffs: Oversee evening admissions and handoffs with oncoming overnight leadership.
• Mentorship & Accountability: Coach evening RNs, LPNs, CNAs and model professional standards.
• Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure documentation adheres to CT DPH and CMS guidelines and report incidents.
