Job summary

The Recruiting Hive seeks an experienced RN Supervisor to lead building operations and clinical workflows during the evening shift at a Connecticut facility. You will supervise the entire unit, coordinate nursing staff, ensure resident-centered care, and maintain regulatory compliance from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Reporting to nursing administration, you will guide charge nurses and CNAs, manage emergencies, oversee documentation, and participate in shift handoffs to overnight

Qualifications

• RN license active in Connecticut
• 2–3 years nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab
• Experience supervising nursing staff preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and quick decision-making
• Proficient with EMR systems such as PointClickCare

Responsibilities

• Lead evening nursing operations across all units (3:00 PM–11:00 PM, M–F)
• Serve as primary clinical decision-maker for emergencies
• Conduct regular rounds, oversee care delivery, meds, infection control, documentation
• Manage shift staffing to ensure adequate coverage
• Oversee admissions, room placements, and handoffs to overnight team
• Mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs with professional standards
• Ensure regulatory compliance (DPH, CMS) and incident reporting
