Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is assisting a Connecticut healthcare and senior living organization in recruiting an experienced RN Supervisor (Building Oversight) for evening shift.

The role leads clinical and operational workflow from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, and effective supervision of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Key duties include coordinating nursing operations across all units, managing emergencies, guiding staff, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing in SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab.
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred in a skilled nursing setting.
• Ability to prioritize clinically and make rapid decisions.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems (e.g., PointClickCare).

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing operations across all units during evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM, M–F).
• Serve as primary clinical decision-maker for acuity changes and transfers.
• Conduct regular rounds to oversee care delivery, meds, infection control, charting.
• Adjust staffing to maintain adequate coverage and balance workload.
• Oversee admissions, room placements, and shift handoffs with overnight leadership.
• Coach and mentor evening RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure documentation complies with Connecticut DPH and CMS guidelines.
