Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for Building Oversight to lead the evening operations of a Connecticut-based healthcare and senior living facility. The role covers clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and seamless shift management from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

You will oversee nursing workflows, mentor RNs/LPNs/CNAs, and respond to emergencies while coordinating with nursing administration to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute care.
• Supervisory experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
• Strong clinical prioritization and autonomous decision-making.
• Proficient with PointClickCare EMR.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing operations across all facility units during the 3–11 pm shift.
• Act as primary clinical decision-maker for emergencies and transfers.
• Conduct evening rounds to oversee care, meds, infection control, and charting.
• Manage staffing and resource allocations for the shift.
• Oversee admissions, room placements, and handoffs with overnight leadership.
• Coach and mentor evening RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Connecticut DPH and CMS; report incidents.
