Job summary

Confident Search Consultants in Connecticut is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to manage evening clinical and operational workflow across the facility.

This hands-on leadership role, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday, focuses on resident-centered care, supervision of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to nursing administration, you will oversee triage, admissions, and shift handoffs while ensuring safety and quality in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute settings.
• Supervisory/leadership experience in a skilled nursing environment preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and independent decision-making abilities.
• Experience using EMR systems such as PointClickCare for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee evening nursing operations across all units (3:00 PM–11:00 PM, M–F).
• Act as primary clinical decision-maker for resident status changes and emergencies.
• Conduct regular rounds to supervise care delivery, meds, infection control, and charting.
• Manage staffing and resource allocation to maintain coverage and balance workload.
• Oversee admissions, room placements, and shift handoffs with oncoming leadership.
• Coach and guide evening RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to uphold professional standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Connecticut DPH and CMS guidelines.
