Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor (Building Oversight) for the evening shift in Connecticut. The role commands clinical and operational workflow across the facility from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, reporting to nursing administration.

You will lead as the on-duty clinical leader, ensuring resident-focused care, monitoring nursing workflows, guiding charge nurses and CNAs, and maintaining regulatory compliance with CT DPH and CMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• RN license in Connecticut is required.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in a SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab.
• Supervisory/charge nurse experience preferred.
• Proficiency with PointClickCare EMR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building-wide nursing operations during the evening shift (3–11 PM, M–F).
• Act as primary clinical decision-maker for acute changes and emergencies.
• Conduct regular rounds to supervise care delivery, med administration, and charting.
• Manage staffing, assignments, and resource allocation for evenings.
• Oversee admissions, room placements, and shift handoffs with oncoming leadership.
• Mentor and guide evening RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to uphold standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely incident reporting.
