Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant to support residents’ dignity and independence through personal care, companionship, and daily activity encouragement. You will work with the nursing director and care team to monitor wellbeing and ensure a safe, welcoming community.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, proactive engagement, and effective communication with residents, families, and staff to uphold Cedarhurst's standards and mission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience as a resident assistant in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools including Microsoft Office and EHR systems.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with personal care needs, grooming, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Respond to signals and assist residents promptly and compassionately.
• Record health metrics as directed and communicate with care team.
• Assist with dining, mobility, and activity participation.
• Support residents with daily living activities and monitor safety.
• Collaborate with staff to implement individualized care plans.
