Job summary

The Resident Assistant at Cedarhurst Senior Living supports residents’ dignity and independence by providing personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance under the Director of Nursing.

You will monitor health, assist with activities, and coordinate with the care team to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home. This role requires empathy, teamwork, and good communication; part-time overnight shifts and daytime positions are available.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a resident assistant in a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and electronic health records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, grooming, hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
• Respond to call bells and assess resident needs promptly and with empathy.
• Monitor health indicators and communicate observations to the care team.
• Support residents in dining, activities, and social engagement.
