US Foods is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and reliable diesel fleet operations. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain tractors, trailers, and related equipment, while coordinating with partners and adhering to DOT standards.

Onsite role with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork. Must bring hands-on tools and be prepared for travel and training opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
• Willing to travel and attend training provided by US Foods.
• Must furnish own personal hand tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency for reefer equipment repairs.
• Ability to read/write legibly and perform basic math.
• Able to read and understand technical/service manuals.
• Experience with fleet maintenance software preferred.
• Welding ability preferred.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete repairs on diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, coordinate with third party vendors and plan action.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment compliant with safety rules and regulations.
• Document equipment repair and parts used in fleet maintenance software.
• Backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
• Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
