US Foods is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician to ensure a safe and reliable fleet by repairing diesel equipment such as tractors and trailers. The role involves troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting work using fleet software.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM. Compensation starts at $36 hourly based on certifications and experience, with overtime where applicable.

Competenze

• 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
• TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications.
• Willing to travel and attend training provided by US Foods.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to reefer equipment repairs.
• Successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in administering appropriate PM program.
• Must furnish own personal hand tools.
• Able to read and write legibly (e.g., to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, and enter information on reports if needed); basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical and online service manuals.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using fleet maintenance software PREFERRED
• Welding ability PREFERRED

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners on plan of action.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines.
• Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
• Backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
• Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certificates.
• Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
