Job summary

Shields Health is seeking a Patient Care Representative in Milford, MA to deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, efficiency and accuracy. You will greet patients, collect copays, assist with iPad check-in, and ensure HIPAA compliance while coordinating with radiology staff to maintain smooth patient flow.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with computer systems.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required.
Attention to detail and typing accuracy required.
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Comfort with data entry and use of office software.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and collect copay/deductible/coinsurance and explain consent forms.
Assist patients with iPad check-in and troubleshoot as needed.
Identify when language services are required and arrange them.
Distribute films/CDs while maintaining HIPAA and patient privacy.
Collaborate with technologists/radiologists to ensure smooth patient flow.
Process incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries; prepare next day schedule.
Enter information into systems accurately and promptly.
Respond to scheduling emergencies and patient/doctor concerns.
Maintain confidentiality and stay updated on policy changes.
Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
