Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Patient Access Representative to deliver a welcoming, seamless experience for patients from arrival through visit completion. You will assist with registration, verify insurance, collect payments, and support multiple patient access areas, including front desk and cash handling in Epic.

This role includes mandatory EPIC training, evening shifts 3:00pm–11:00pm, and every other weekend/holiday, with opportunities for growth within Cleveland Clinic’s Customer Service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years in a customer-facing role.
• OR Associate degree and 1 year experience.
• OR Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or completion of course within one year.
• Basic PC software knowledge and ability to use multiple data systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration and obtain information about demographics, insurance, medical and financial.
• Crosstrain to staff all areas of patient access (front desk, admitting, ED and cash register).
• Function as a Super User and train new caregivers.
• Provide registration and cash collection access in Epic.
