Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, OH is hiring a Patient Access Representative to greet and register patients, collect demographics and payment information, and verify insurance. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years in a customer-facing role, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Basic PC skills and ability to use multiple data systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology to understand physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration and obtain demographics, insurance, medical and financial information.
• Crosstrain to staff all areas of patient access such as front desk, admitting office, ED and cash register.
• Function as a Super User and train new caregivers.
• Provide registration and cash collection access in Epic.
