Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of Customer service experience.
• 1 year Healthcare environment (hospital and/or physician office).
• Computer and typing proficiency.
• Ability to interact with a diverse patient base, including emergency scenarios.
• Must pass required training in two attempts or less.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients to collect demographic, insurance, and scheduling information.
• Guides patients through the registration process to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Ensures referral orders are complete and match appointments.
• Obtains missing orders prior to tests or treatments.
• Scans insurance cards, IDs, and regulatory forms accurately; secures signatures for reimbursement.
• Determines patient financial responsibility and provides estimates.
• Refer patients to financial resources for counseling as needed.
• Review daily schedule to identify conflicts and coordinate with staff for solutions.
• Maintain compliance with registration accuracy.
