Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English with Residents.

Responsibilities

• Advocate of empathy: create human connection with residents during vulnerable moments.
• Patient observer: identify residents' interests and develop engagement plans.
• Master of the mise en scene: prepare dining, library, and resident rooms to create daily flow.
• Life partner: support residents from wake to sleep in daily activities.
• Document resident care and changes in condition; assist orientation of memory care staff.
