Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to support Fanuc robotics and CNCs in a Cedarburg, WI facility. This direct-hire role offers up to $35.50/hr and a strong 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, and monthly performance bonuses.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, hands-on robotics/CNC troubleshooting, and a stable work history. Local commuting within 1 hour is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Verifiable experience troubleshooting CNC controls and robotics (Fanuc, ABB).
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and interpret equipment manuals.
• Demonstrated 2+ years at each prior employer (no job hoppers).
• US work authorization and travel/commute within 1 hour of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Lead Robotic & CNC recovery: troubleshoot Fanuc and ABB systems, replace worn tools, and rapidly recover lines.
• Troubleshoot electrical control circuits: isolate and repair plant electrical systems and PLC hardware.
• Maintain fluid power & pneumatic systems: diagnose and repair hydraulic/pneumatic components and cooling lines.
• Service furnaces and heavy machinery: perform routine maintenance on gas-fired and electrical furnaces, gear units, and forklifts.
• Support tool room & die operations: move dies with forklifts, organize mold storage, assist die changes and repairs.
• Execute preventative maintenance: complete PMs on down equipment, perform lubrication checks, maintain 5S, and log repairs.
