Navy Exchange Service Command is seeking a Guest Service Representative I for the 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM shift at NGIS Norfolk. The role involves front desk operations, guest interactions, and lodging-related services to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The position requires managing reservations, payments, and inquiries, with emphasis on security, privacy, and proper use of the Property Management System (PMS).

Qualifications

• One 1 year of general office clerical experience that demonstrated the ability to perform clerical duties satisfactorily.
• One 1 year progressively responsible experience related to the position to be filled.
• Study completed in a college university or junior college above the high school level may be substituted on the basis of one-half academic year of study for 6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists guests with room reservations, payments, check-in and check-out within established guidelines.
• Greets and welcomes guests, maintaining outstanding guest relations at all times.
• Uses the Property Management System (PMS) to access guest information, reservations, and make changes as requested.
• Maintains front desk inventory, logs, and safety/security of guests and property.
