Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Nashua, NH seeks a Closing Manager to lead the club’s evening operations, oversee Recovery, Perishables, and Utility teams, and ensure GOLD standards and service excellence. You’ll manage audits, training, and member engagement while serving as MOD as needed.

Require ServSafe certification, forklift experience, and proven leadership in retail operations. This role features full-time hours, weekly pay, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations.
• Forklift Certification required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email) required.
• Open shift availability required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must maintain all training and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Own end-of-day execution: oversee Recovery, Utility, Perishables and overnight prep for morning open.
• Lead by presence: walk the floor during closing hours to monitor performance.
• Maintain GOLD Standards: ensure GAA and related service behaviors.
• Ensure departments are fully functional through close and verify registers and stations.
• Coach onboarding and certifications: reinforce ServSafe and department training.
• Drive improvement in underperforming areas with action plans and follow-through.
