Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Closing Manager to lead the club's overnight and closing operations, including Recovery, Perishables, and Utility departments. You will supervise the Assistant Closing Manager and teams, ensure policy adherence, and deliver a premium member experience.

You’ll drive daily execution of GOLD standards, manage audits, and coordinate with leaders to hit KPIs. A valid ServSafe certification is required; forklift certification and ongoing training are also expected,

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations.
• Experience in managing inventory turnover and waste reduction strategies.
• Forklift Certification required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email) required.
• Open shift availability required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-of-day execution across departments to ensure readiness for morning operations.
• Lead by presence and coach evening teams to uphold standards.
• Maintain GOLD Standards and ensure a premium member experience across all areas.
• Coach onboarding and certifications to maintain safety and product knowledge.
