Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Closing Manager in Florida to lead evening operations, manage the Recovery, Utility, and Perishables teams, and drive club performance. You will partner with the Club Manager to ensure a consistent, high-quality member experience and uphold food safety and safety certifications.

The role requires ServSafe certification and a Florida qualifier for propane oversight, with forklift operation included.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations required.
• Forklift certification required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee closing operations for departments including Recovery, Perishables, and overall club readiness.
• Lead and coach Assistant Closing Manager, Recovery, and Utility teams.
• Ensure GOLD standards, safety, cleanliness, and audit readiness across the club.
• Schedule, train, and mentor staff; maintain coverage and productivity.
• Operate forklift safely and ensure equipment readiness and safety compliance.
