Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Assistant Closing Manager to lead key departments during closing hours, ensure accurate execution, and maintain food safety and service standards. You will oversee Recovery, Utility, and Perishable areas, coach team members, and drive daily execution to deliver an exceptional member experience.

This role requires ServSafe certification, open-shift availability, and at least 18 years old, with experience in retail or perishable operations preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations preferred.
• SERV Safe certification required.
• Open shift availability required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments during closing.
• Lead by presence on the floor and support team performance.
• Maintain GOLD Standards to ensure a positive member experience until closing.
