Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs. The role involves working at service centers or on-site at customer locations with occasional travel to production facilities. Expect a collaborative team environment and a Monday–Friday schedule with possible Saturday rotations.

Responsibilities include diagnosis, repair, parts coordination, and documentation. Prior auto shop experience is preferred; EV/Hybrid knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Hands-on automotive shop experience preferred, EV/Hybrid repair a plus.
• Open to entry-level to experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles at service centers or in-field at customer locations.
• Explain Rivian product lines, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures using available technical resources without compromising safety or quality.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document all work and technical notes for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
