Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs across the field and service centers. This role requires collaboration, reliability in dynamic environments, and willingness to travel to locations including the production plant.

The position spans multiple seniority levels, with level determined by business needs. Applicants should have a strong automotive background, prefer EV/hybrid repair experience, and be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs, work a 40-hour week,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience in automotive shop environments preferred.
• Experience with EV or hybrid repair preferred.
• Proficient with Windows or Mac computers.
• Willing to work 40 hours weekly including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, and inspections in the field or service center.
• Identify and explain Rivian product lines and EV framework.
• Follow repair procedures using available technical resources.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs.
• Manage parts operations including ordering and inventory.
• Document all work and technical notes for internal use.
