Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs and provide on-site service. The role is based in a primary location with potential travel to Rivian facilities or customer sites to support operations.

Candidates should have automotive shop experience, EV repair interest, and a background in working across teams. A 40-hour work week and weekend/overtime flexibility may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Fluent English reading and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles in service centers or on-site at customer locations.
• Explain Rivian product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures and safely conduct road tests.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
• Stay current with technical training.
