Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs across service centers and in the field, including customer homes or other locations. The role involves traveling to various sites and collaborating with a team to maintain high-quality Rivian EV service.

Candidates should be capable of working in a dynamic environment, have a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for a 40-hour week with potential weekend or shift requirements. EV experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record (3–5 year window).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform field service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in the field.
• Identify and explain Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to ensure repair quality.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory.
• Document work and technical notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
• Stay current with technical skills and required training.
