Job summary

Rivian in Georgia is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations under mentorship from senior technicians. Based primarily at a local service center, the role may include remote work, travel to mobile service locations, or plant operations as needed; strong communication and a passion for innovation are valued.

You will learn, grow your technical acumen, and contribute to safe, high‑quality service experiences for Rivian customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on experience in automotive shop or technical environment; open to recent graduates.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or startup environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Service & Repair: diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Technical Guidance: learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Procedure & Safety Adherence: follow repair procedures and safety standards.
• Quality Assurance: conduct road tests to verify repairs and safety.
• Parts & Operations Management: assist with parts ordering, receiving, inventory, and expenses.
• Documentation: maintain detailed technical notes for completed and in-process repairs.
• Customer Interaction: maintain professionalism with customers and partners at facilities or events.
• Continuous Improvement: identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns.
• Professional Growth: engage in required training and develop skills with minimal supervision.
