Job summary

Rivian, an EV manufacturer, is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support repairs, inspections, and field service. You will work under senior technicians, gaining hands-on experience while ensuring high-quality service at local centers, with potential remote work or travel for mobile service as needed.

The role emphasizes learning, communication, and growth in a fast-paced startup environment, with opportunities across service campaigns and plant operations as business needs evolve.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; automotive repair training preferred.
• 0–3 years in automotive shop or technical setting; open to graduates.
• Basic EV/hybrid exposure from coursework or prior work helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with EV repairs, inspections, and field service at service centers or on the road.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and repair procedures under supervision.
• Follow procedures and safety guidelines; document repairs accurately.
• Perform road tests and verify repair quality and safety.
• Support parts operations, inventory, and work orders.
• Maintain detailed notes and communicate with customers professionally.
• Contribute to process improvements and training efforts.
• Engage in required training to grow technical skills.
