Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical skills while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will work under mentorship to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations, with potential remote work and travel for mobile service or plant support.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and high-quality service in dynamic settings, including service centers and outreach events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on experience in automotive shop or technical environment.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or startup environments is a plus.
• Electrical & Systems: basic electricity theory and DVOM, reading basic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship of senior technicians.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
• Perform tests and road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, and partners at service facilities or events.
